Marina Michou – SoulBotox Portrait

Exist loudly in soft light.

Beauty begins
where perfection takes a nap.

Maybe freedom isn’t fireworks — maybe it’s
wearing yesterday’s eyeliner with pride.
Letting time rest softly on your skin.
Drinking your coffee slowly,
even when the world shouts “hurry up”.

The revolution, darling,
is to be unfiltered and still luminous.

— a note from Artemmmis, currently out of perfection.

Personal Microcosmos

KALIMERA, WORLD.

I’m Marina. This is my digital laboratory — part diary, part cultural playground. Here, seemingly unrelated worlds collide: movement and philosophy, cocktails and pedagogy, island silence and late-night bar conversations.

If you’re drawn to depth without drama, rhythm without noise, and ideas that evolve in real time — you’re in the right place.

SOCIAL WORK & PEDAGOGY

My professional backbone. Supporting families, navigating complexity, and working where empathy meets structure.

Philosophy in a glass. Movement in the body. Structure in the soul. Kalimera Welt, I'm Marina – half bartender, half story collector, full heart. I live between Vienna and Limnos, mixing people, music, and meaning. I believe in soulful houses, honest conversations, and really good olive oil. I speak English, German, Greek, Body, Soul – and Emotion. I collect strong sentences, stronger espresso – and guests with character. If walls could talk, mine would whisper poetry. Until then, we're here to host you!

a Microcosmos

A living archive of movement, thought and beautifully unfinished ideas. Not a diary. Not a brand. A micro-universe in progress.

Here, life gets unpacked — layer by layer. Late-night conversations. Dance rehearsals. Philosophy between cocktail glasses. Pedagogy inside real life. The elegant chaos of becoming.

It is not self-help. It is self-witnessing. A place where discipline meets desire, where humor softens depth, where thinking learns to move.

About Me.Me.Me.

Marina Maria Michou

Social pedagogue. Everyday choreographer. Story collector. Freedom fighter in a glitter dress.

Born in Greece, shaped in Austria — somewhere between a coffee cup, a podcast microphone and a dance floor. My life is a well-shaken cocktail of crises, courage, creativity, caffeine and small miracles.

I don’t believe in perfection. I believe in presence — in words that hit like espresso: strong, honest, slightly bitter.

Owner of Hemingway’s Cocktail & Music Bar (Est. 2013), founder of SoulBotox, co-creator of Mythos Homes on Limnos Island — and the mind behind spaces where art, movement and humanity meet. Whether behind the bar, in a theatre room, or inside inclusive projects, I create places where people can be raw, unfiltered and real.

Philosophy in a glass. Literature on the rocks. Movement as truth.

No Business Card. Just Movement.

a questionable career strategy

Somewhere along the way I stopped handing out business cards. Instead, I hand out presence.

If we’re honest, it’s terrible marketing: no fixed niche, no neat elevator pitch — just rhythm, island homes, late-night conversations, social work, music, and thoughts that refuse to behave.

But I chose movement over walls, experience over image, bodies in space over profiles on screens. Maybe the real strategy is this: live in a way people remember the feeling — not the font.

MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

where reflection becomes motion —
and self-knowledge tastes like surrender.

I talk. I dance. I overthink. Sometimes all at once.

The BO-TALKS podcast is where my brain and my body finally stopped arguing and decided to record it. I move to unlearn my own choreography — each gesture, a rebellion against certainty. Every turn, a mirror cracking from within.

The dance is not performance — it’s confession. The moment when the ego loses rhythm, and the soul finally dares to improvise.

In that fragile silence between movement and stillness, sometimes the most honest thing you can do is dance like nobody’s watching —

ABOUT

Marina Maria Michou

A fountain of blood in the shape of a waitress — serving coffee to remember and cocktails to forget.

A woman who keeps growing new heads like a benevolent Hydra — each one whispering a different truth.

She is all and nothing at once: a social pedagogue who teaches through laughter, a storyteller who heals through chaos, a dancer who forgets the steps but never the rhythm.

Between playlists and dancefloors, Hemingway nights and Mythos mornings, she builds bridges between chaos and calm.

She writes with caffeine, heals with music, and collects conversations from people over eighty and under ten — the only ones still fluent in honesty.

SoulBotox isn’t a brand — it’s the quiet rebellion of staying human; where imperfection becomes poetry and every scar hums its own melody.

The injection of inner beauty — where art, therapy & irony meet for a drink.

Artemmmis cinematic portrait

The girl with the curls
who always felt like a boy inside.

They said I was “the pretty one”. But I grew up with scraped knees, pockets full of stones, and a heart too restless to sit still. Beauty was a costume. Truth was the rebellion underneath it.

To change the world, I had to stop editing myself first.

UNFILTERED. UNASHAMED. UNMUTED.

The Language Before Words

Dance has shaped my life in ways I never expected. It taught me how powerful a lucid imagination can be, how movement becomes a sentence, how breath becomes punctuation, how the body writes what the mind can’t speak yet.

Just like writers weave stories through language, dancers weave meaning through motion — a living alphabet of rhythm, weight, balance, release.

The Literacy of Movement

Teaching younger and older dancers opened another doorway:
dance as literacy.
A way of reading bodies, emotions, unspoken stories.
A way of writing truth without words.

On my journey to become the dancer I’m meant to be,
movement taught me discipline, intuition, empathy,
and the sacred art of beginning again.

It’s extraordinary what humans can learn
when they devote themselves to what they love.

Mythos Homes · Lemnos · Greece

TA PANTA RHEI-TREAT

On Lemnos, time softens. Stone holds the light, mornings begin slowly, and every house becomes part of the island’s deeper rhythm. Mythos Homes are not just places to stay — they are spaces to breathe, gather, rest and remember what simplicity feels like.

“No one ever steps into the same river twice.”

Heraclitus called the world a living movement of fire and change. Travel is like that too. A stay is never only accommodation — it becomes atmosphere, memory, conversation, and the quiet feeling that for a few days, you belonged somewhere beautiful.

Panta rhei — and sometimes, what flows back to us is home.

SUNDAYS, WE RETURN

A dancing brunch for women.
Not a show — a soft homecoming.

Some weeks make you forget your own body. You become a schedule, a role, a voice that says “I’m fine.” Sunday is where we undo that — gently.

We meet to eat, to move, to laugh — and to breathe next to other women without comparison. No performance. No pressure. Just permission: arrive as you are.

We dance the way we need: slow, wild, shy, grounded. A small ritual for feminine connection — the kind that doesn’t ask you to be smaller or sharper.

WHEN: 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month
WHAT: Brunch + music + embodied movement
FOR: women / mother–daughter / friends
Less noise. More presence. More “us”.

Mirror, but make it merciful.

Beauty isn’t a filter. It’s a decision: to stay true, soft, and sovereign.

I’m not here to be perfect. I’m here to be precise with my heart. To hold a space where women are allowed to be everything: wise and wild, salt and honey, prayer and punchline. If you’re looking for the one person who will change your life — look in the mirror. Then wink.

Love Yourself First

Not out of selfishness, but out of survival.
Because no one else carries your body, your heartbeat, your soul.

Self-love is not vanity. It is structure. It is the quiet decision not to abandon yourself.

This story is about movement, tenderness, survival, and the kind of strength that does not scream — but stays.

1. The Awakening

I was the girl everyone called “perfect” — smart, strong, disciplined. But perfection is not a compliment. It is a trap. It took me years to understand that self-love is not a mirror, but a fire: something that keeps you warm when the world turns cold and unclear.

“My father never wanted a pretty daughter — he wanted one who stands, who thinks, and who dares to remain kind in a brutal world.”

2. Movement as Prayer

I am a Health Angel, and movement is my therapy. Without it, the pressure would turn inward. Sport saves me from darkness, cynicism and exhaustion. When the body dances, the soul breathes. This is not just training — it is self-rescue with rhythm.

Back2Park movement project Workout in the park Dance community
“When music arrives, the body forgets its borders.”

3. Roots & Wings

My father was my first compass. He taught me something harsh and liberating at once: strength is not hardness — it is trust. Flying only becomes possible when something in you is rooted.

I studied life, not law. People, not numbers. For years I have accompanied souls whose bodies speak differently. Again and again, they teach me what it really means to be human.

“This is my anchor against the myth of Icarus — the urge to fly too high and forget that light can also burn.”

Back 2 Park

The Manifesto

People in wheelchairs. Queer bodies. Elders. Strangers. Dancers. Care workers. When the beat begins, something soft and radical happens: status disappears. Pity disappears. Only rhythm remains.

Our bodies are different — but our souls dance to the same pulse.

Projects · movement · hospitality · voice · lived experience

This is not a summary.
It’s a moving self-portrait.

FOURTEEN YEARS BUILDING MICROCOSMOUS in Four minutes of rhythm, contradiction, work, tenderness, chaos, beauty, wrong turns, reinvention and the odd little miracle of still becoming.

I never really lived in one lane. I moved between people, projects, music, pedagogy, hospitality, movement, writing, overstimulation, sharp turns and the occasional existential comedy. Some things I built with intention. Some things built me back while I was still improvising my way through them.

A bar at night. A workshop in daylight. A body trying to listen more honestly. A conversation that changed direction. A room full of people. A notebook full of fragments. A life that never fit neatly into one title, because it was always asking for more texture, more contact, more pulse.

This video is not here to explain me in a polished or convenient way. It is here to reveal atmosphere: the worlds I move through, the energy I create, the people I hold space for, the aesthetic I trust, the humour that keeps me human, and the strange cocktail of care, instinct and creativity that ties everything together.

Somewhere between structure and improvisation, between responsibility and imagination, between intimacy and intensity, I found my own language. Not perfect. Not sterile. Just lived enough to mean something.
