This is slow media.
Not to impress you — but to meet you.
Take what you need. Leave the rest.

Between Bar, Books & Bühne

I mix stories instead of cocktails.
I dance between souls instead of lights.
Every night is a rehearsal for being real.

The Slow Art of Stillness

a cinematic pause between chaos and clarity

When everything around me moved too fast, I turned toward stillness — not to escape, but to resist. A glass of honesty. A question without an answer. A record spinning slowly, whispering darkness and rhythm.

That’s where SoulBotox was born — somewhere between jazz notes and cigarette smoke, between exhaustion and ecstasy, where I learned that healing doesn’t make noise — it has a beat.

I called it Philo:Sofa — not another podcast, but a refuge for restless souls. A living room for lost philosophers who prefer their wisdom shaken, their truths whispered, and their laughter slightly unfiltered.

It’s not about becoming “better.” It’s about becoming real. Holding your cracks, dancing with your doubts, and serving your scars with a slice of lime.

▶ LISTEN · PAUSE · FEEL · REPEAT

Some nights heal you more honestly than therapy ever could.

Slow Media in a Fast World

We live in a culture of speed. Fast content. Fast opinions. Fast identities.

Posts disappear in 24 hours. Trends last a week. Attention lasts seconds.

Slow media is the opposite of that. It values depth over immediacy. Presence over performance. Meaning over metrics.

SoulBotox exists within this philosophy. Not as a brand, but as a space for authentic storytelling, long-form reflection, curated playlists, and conversations that do not expire.

It is an exploration of mindful content creation — choosing honesty over algorithms, substance over spectacle, and humanity over perfection.

SOULBOTOX · SLOW MEDIA

LESS FILTERS · MORE FEELINGS

A living portfolio of thoughts, stories, and small rituals
for the art of being unapologetically human.

SoulBotox was born somewhere between a cocktail bar counter and a stone house flooded with Limnos light. Between jazz nights at Hemingway's, kitchen-table confessions at Mythos Home, and that very human need to turn pain into poetry and sarcasm into survival.

This is not lifestyle content. It’s a lifeline — for people thirsty for truth, served neat, with a slice of humour.

A place where healing flirts with art, and philosophy drinks wine without pretending it’s water.

A creative refuge by Marina Maria Michou
typed with trembling hands & an irresponsible amount of coffee.

SLOW MEDIA · SOULBOTOX

MORE RAW TALKS · LESS BOTOX

Beauty begins where pretending ends.
Wrinkles tell the best stories — the kind time cannot edit,
because truth does not age.

We live in a world that froze its face to hide its fear. Filters became feelings. Wellness became performance. And yet — beneath the polish, something still moves: a pulse that remembers touch, rhythm, honesty.

SoulBotox is not a brand. It’s a quiet rebellion. A philosophy for those tired of pretending they are “fine.” Choosing presence over perfection. Depth over display. Honesty over habit.

The kind of Botox that doesn’t freeze you — it frees you. A reminder that beauty isn’t what passes the filter, but what refuses to be erased.

A cocktail shaker of healing.
A mirror that melts instead of cracks.

On Returning to Yourself

My name is Marina.

I didn’t start SoulBotox because I had answers. I started it because I was tired of pretending I was fine.

Somewhere between long nights, music, conversations at kitchen tables, and the quiet after everyone leaves, I realised something simple: most of us are not looking for perfection. We are looking for permission.

Permission to feel. Permission to slow down. Permission to not perform all the time.

SoulBotox is just a small space for that. Words. Music. Conversations. Nothing polished. Nothing fixed. Just human.

WHAT IS SOUL BOTOX?

Soul Botox is not just a project.
It is a call to return.
To authenticity. To breath. To soul.

It is the moment you put down the armour
and stand without roles.
The practice of finding yourself again
through music, words, hospitality, and community.

Soul Botox is light inside darkness.
Laughter that breaks silence.
The truth behind every myth.

Not cosmetic correction — but conscious reflection.
Not surface lifting — but inner awakening.

For those who would rather lift the heart than the forehead.
For those who choose depth over decoration.

A space for slow media.
For long thoughts.
For conversations that don’t expire in 24 hours.

Like a strong espresso:
honest, intense, sometimes slightly bitter — but it wakes you up.

SoulBotox Mixtape Room

After Midnight

For sleepless souls and late-night thinkers. For the ones who find peace in playlists and poetry. This is your room between yesterday and tomorrow — a place to breathe, listen, and simply be.

“It’s 2 AM somewhere. The world sleeps — but our thoughts keep dancing.”

WHAT IS SOUL BOTOX?

Soul Botox is not a beauty tutorial.
It’s a thinking salon for your soul — with ink, sound & temperament.
A blog made of thoughts, stories, and snapshots: sometimes philosophical, sometimes funny, often somewhere in between.

Here, life gets unpacked — layer by layer — with fewer filters and no fixed plan.
A home for the curious, the overthinkers, and everyone who prefers life imperfect… but real.

Marina Michou — Creative Philosophy in Practice

Hello world. I’m Marina Michou — founder of SoulBotox, creator of the Philo:Sofa Podcast, and co-creator of Hemingway’s Bar in Linz and Mythos Homes RetrEAT Limnos.

My work lives at the intersection of storytelling, slow media, music, hospitality, and philosophy. I believe in the power of words — not the polished ones, not the perfectly rehearsed ones — but the raw, slightly trembling kind. The ones that arrive after the third coffee. The ones that dare to tell the truth.

SoulBotox was born from this philosophy: depth over decoration, presence over perfection, honesty over performance.

Through writing, conversation, curated playlists, live bar culture, and community spaces, I explore what it means to remain human in a world obsessed with speed, filters, and surface.

I don’t create content. I create rooms — for reflection, rhythm, and real connection.
